Celebrating it’s tenth anniversary, Birmingham’s independent film festival will be held September 26-28 in various venues in downtown including:

* Alabama Showplace
* Speakeasy
* Playhouse Costume Co Op & Scene Shop

The festival made it debut in Birmingham in 1999, with filmmakers from across the country and around the world coming to screen their work at the Sidewalk……always greeted by diverse crowds eager to experience the creativity of new independent films.

You won’t want to miss the fun and excitement! Between screenings film-lovers and filmmakers have to opportunity to mix and mingle……..satisfy your hunger at the Sidewalk Cafe or quench your thirst and listen to some music at Speakeasy 1920. This is a unique and special event. Don’t miss it!

Weekend passes are $30-$35, single film tickets are $8 each or three for $20, and tickets for the opening night are $12-$15.
